Two Burns & Levinson Employees Nominated for Lawyers Weekly’s Unsung Heroes Award

September 15, 2009

Burns & Levinson LLP, a Boston-based leading law firm with offices in Massachusetts and Rhode Island is proud to announce that Marie DeMaso and Marlo M. Schepper have been nominated for Lawyers Weekly’s Unsung Heroes Award.

The Unsung Heroes Award was created to honor legal marketers, paralegals, legal secretaries, law librarians and firm administrators. Selection was based on the nominees consistently showing dedication and continuously contributing to their firms within their respective fields. The winners will be announced at the Lawyer’s Weekly Unsung Heroes Awards Luncheon on September 18, 2009 in Boston.

“We are very proud to have two employees included in this nomination. We are fortunate to have such dedicated people on our administrative team,” said David Rosenblatt, Managing Partner.

Marie Demaso is a secretary and has been with the firm since 2000. Marie is assistant to Shepard Davidson, Co-Chair of the Business Litigation Group, Nancy A. Newark, Partner in the Business Litigation and Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits Groups and Matthew J. Tuttle, Partner in the Securities Group.

Marlo Schepper is a Patent Agent for the Intellectual Property and Science & Technology Groups. Prior to joining Burns & Levinson LLP in January 2006, she was with the firm Perkins Smith & Cohen LLP.
