On February 26, 2010, the Dallas Business Journal unveiled Best Real Estate Deal winners.  Ray Kane was recognized as a key player in the Timbercreek Crossing development, the largest retail project to be constructed in North Texas in 2009, which was the winner of the Best Retail Deal.  He was also recognized as a key player by Dallas Business Journal for his involvement with the Bed Bath & Beyond Inc./Home Depot development located on Dallas Parkway, a Best Retail Deal finalist.  Devry Garrett was recognized as a key player as well for his involvement with the Murphy Marketplace development, another Best Retail Deal finalist.
