Boston Children’s Museum was named by Parents magazine as one of the 10 Best Children's Museums in the Nation.
BJ’s Wholesale Club, led by CEO Laura Sen; Communispace, Inc., led by CEO Diane Hessan; Millennium Partners Sports Club Management LLC, operator of The Sports Club/LA, led by Smaiyra Million; NSK, Inc., led by CEO Nancy Keddy; and Sonesta International Hotels Corporation, led by Stephanie Sonnabend, were each recognized by the Boston Business Journal and the Commonwealth Institute as being among the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in the region.
Communispace, Inc. has been named a Gold Winner for the Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Awards, which are awarded annually by the Massachusetts Alliance for Economic Development to companies that have made a significant contribution to the Massachusetts economy.
Peter Necheles was selected by Lawyers Weekly as a “Leader in the Law” for his accomplishments as Chief Legal Officer at Agero, Inc. (formerly known as Cross Country Automotive Services). Agero is a member company in The Cross Country Group.
Embrace Home Loans was recognized for its excellence in the workplace and devotion to community service with Entrepreneur.com’s Great Places to Work 2011 awards, in conjunction with the Great Place to Work® Institute.
Keith Wexelblatt was selected by Lawyers Weekly as a “Leader in the Law” for his accomplishments as in-house counsel at Reebok International Ltd.
Schwartz MSL was acknowledged with the Bulldog Reporter Award in two categories, the Public relations Society of America Silver Anvil Awards in three categories, the Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringers in eleven categories and the Publicity Club Merit Awards in two categories.
Simpson Gumpertz & Heger received the Silver Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) Engineering Excellence Competition. The firm also received the 2011 Excellence in Design Award from Environmental Design + Construction magazine.
Esquire Magazine named Boston restaurants Tico and Towne Stove and Spirits among the 20 best new restaurants in the United States. The recognition appeared in the magazine’s November 2011 edition.
The Urban Grape was voted "Best of Boston" in the Wine Shop – West category by Boston magazine’s annual Best of Boston awards.
