Brian Murren and Edward Grattan Join Tucker Arensberg

Tucker Arensberg is pleased to announce that Brian J. Murren joined the firm in the Harrisburg office and Edward J. Grattan, II in the Pittsburgh office. Brian is a member of the Litigation Department and Edward is a member of the Business & Finance Department.

Brian focuses his practice in general commercial litigation. Prior to practicing law, Brian worked as a paralegal dealing with Trusts & Estates Administration, as well as litigation involving Estates. Brian serves on the Dauphin County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Board as Social Chair.  He also performs pro bono services through the Association’s Homeless Outreach Projects. While in law school Brian clerked for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, Charitable Trusts & Organizations Sections.

Brian earned his Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from James Madison University.  

Edward is an associate in the firm’s Business & Finance Department and advises clients on corporate finances, governance and compliance/regulatory issues.  Edward particularly enjoys helping emerging businesses navigate from organization through financing.  He has worked with a wide variety of technology start-ups, as well as assisting companies with asset acquisitions and large credit facility transactions. Prior to private practice, Edward was a partner at a consulting firm, where is was responsible for developing both domestic and international business opportunities. He also developed strategies with businesses to create public and private partnerships in the Middle East and Asian regions.

Edward earned his Juris Doctor from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he was President of the Drexel Business Law Organization, and Student Bar Association Representative.  He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University.
