PORTLAND, Ore. (April 1, 2021) Tonkon Torp business attorney Mick Harris has been appointed to the Oregon Consular Corps (OCC) as an Associate Member. These members are individuals from Oregon who have interest in international business, trade, education, and culture.

The OCC is an organization of career and honorary Harris-Mick-color--squareconsular officials who serve or have served as representatives of foreign nations and jurisdictions in Oregon and in the Pacific Northwest. Members represent approximately 40 nations as well as the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle. Oregon has hosted foreign consular services since 1921.

”Ever since studying abroad in the Netherlands in college, I have remained fascinated by international relations,” shared Harris. “Oregon is a truly international hub with a rich tapestry of global businesses seeking to operate in the state. I am honored and excited to help expand Portland’s international footprint through the incredible work of the Oregon Consular Corps.”
