PORTLAND, Ore. (December 27, 2023) Tonkon Torp attorney Sadie Concepción has been appointed to the Ambassador Board of CASA for Children. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) connects vetted, volunteer advocates with children who have been abused or neglected. As the children go through the trauma of the court system, their CASA volunteer works to guide them through safely, quickly, and effectively.

The goal of the CASA Ambassador Board is to raise awareness about CASA for Children’s mission, assist with fundraising for the organization, and foster development and relationships amongst future community leaders and current Board of Directors.

Concepción is a tireless pro bono advocate who has done impactful work with such groups as The CLiF Project, Legal Aid Roseburg, and The Ramos Project. She has also offered support or mentorship assistance to such programs and organizations as the Campaign for Equal Justice and Lewis & Clark Law School. She is the recipient of the Pro Bono Challenge Award from the Oregon State Bar’s New Lawyers Division.

Concepción is an associate in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department where she represents entities and individuals in various complex commercial litigation matters, including trade secret and contract disputes. She is experienced in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
