Ward and Smith is thrilled to announce that litigator and Co-Managing Director Brad Evans has been accepted into the revered American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

His entrance into the exclusive fraternity is a testament to his superb trial advocacy skills, commitment to excellence, and professional integrity.

Devon Williams, the firm's Co-Managing Director, expressed her sincerest congratulations for her colleague’s impressive achievement. "Brad has devoted his career to litigating cases with integrity and tenacity while his unwavering professionalism has established him as an exemplary leader and steadfast advocate to clients." She continued, "We are beyond proud of him and truly honored to celebrate his acceptance into ABOTA."

The American Board of Trial Advocates was established in 1958 to preserve and promote the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Membership is extended to trial lawyers and judges with at least five years of active experience, who have tried at least ten civil jury trials to completion, and who possess additional litigation experience.

Brad's invitation now makes him the second Ward and Smith attorney to become an ABOTA member—an accolade also shared by litigation Practice Section leader Lynwood Evans.
