Niles Barton Names Attorneys Diane E. DiBlasio and Michele F. Hayes to the Partnership

Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP has named Diane E. DiBlasio, Esq. and Michele F. Hayes, Esq. as partners effective January 1, 2022. “We are proud to welcome Diane and Michele as our two new partners," said Niles Barton’s Managing Partner Craig D. Roswell.  “They represent the exciting future and growth of the firm, and I congratulate and thank them for all that they have done and will continue to do for the firm and our clients."

Diane E. DiBlasio

Diane E. DiBlasio concentrates her practice in insurance coverage litigation, property insurance law, related first-party insurance matters and commercial litigation. Diane’s experience includes litigation in various first-party areas, including coverage disputes, and third-party insurance defense matters. In addition to representing many domestic carriers, Diane represents a significant number of syndicates in the world's leading specialist insurance market: Lloyd's of London. She works directly with underwriters, brokers, managing general agents and third-party administrators to handle first-party insurance matters and third-party liability matters in the mid-Atlantic United States. Diane also provides counsel in Representations & Warranty (W&I) claims and coverage disputes.

Michele F. Hayes

Michele F. Hayes represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, mediations, and arbitrations across the country. Michele defends professional liability, construction defects and premises liability cases; litigates insurance coverage matters; and provides counsel in Representations & Warranty (W&I) claims and coverage disputes. Her clientele includes Lloyd’s syndicates; engineering, architecture, construction and insurance firms and professionals; and self-insured hospitality providers, including hotels and vacation rental companies. In addition to her insurance work, Michele is the Social Media Chair of DRI Young Lawyers Steering Committee.
