Multiple Pullman & Comley attorneys and litigation practice areas will be honored at ALM’s 2026 New England Legal Awards on Oct. 8 at The Westin Copley Place in Boston. The New England Legal Awards celebrate professional excellence within the legal community across Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, honoring outstanding contributions and achievements of legal professionals within the region.

Four Pullman & Comley practice groups were named as winners of Specialty Litigation Department of the Year. They are: Arbitration/Mediation Services; Business Litigation; Family Law; and Labor & Employment.  Two other practices are finalists for Specialty Litigation Department of the Year, to be announced the evening of the October 8 event: Appellate and Environmental Litigation. All winners will be honored at the October ceremony.

In addition, two individual attorneys have been named finalists in their respective categories. Judge Robert L. Holzberg (Ret.) is one of two finalists in the category of Outstanding Officiators, which celebrates a judge, or retired judge practicing as a mediator or arbitrator (including ADR professionals and sitting jurists), doing exceptional work. Judge Holzberg was the recipient of this award in 2025.  Judge Holzberg leads the firm’s ADR practice, winner of the Specialty Litigation Department of the Year this year, in 2025 and in 2023.

Kelly A. Scott is a finalist for Partner of the Year, which is awarded to an exceptional supporting partner who has earned praise and recognition from firm leadership for their contributions to the past year’s success.  Ms. Scott is chair of the firm’s Family Law practice, winner of the Specialty Litigation Department of the Year this year and in 2024.

Individual winners from Pullman & Comley that were already announced include Matthew Glennon and Stacie Provencher, who will be honored as Rising Stars in Connecticut, which spotlights lawyers age 40 or under who have excelled in the courtroom, in client service and cultivation, service to bar associations and/or pro bono work or community service. Mr. Glennon is a vice chair of the Business Organizations and Finance practice, where he focuses on corporate and business law and financing. Ms. Provencher is an attorney in the Family Law and Appellate practices, known for her compassionate, client-centered approach.

“We are exceptionally proud of Pullman’s recognition by the New England Legal Awards this year,” said Lee Hoffman, chair of Pullman & Comley.  “These honors reflect the significant strength of our firm’s team across a wide range of specialized practice areas, as well as the accomplishments of our next generation of leaders.”
