Jennings Strouss Welcomes Cody J. McDavis to the Firm

Phoenix, AZ (August 20, 2020) – Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, P.L.C., a leading Phoenix-based law firm, is pleased to announce that Cody J. McDavis has joined the firm’s Business Transactions practice group. A native Arizonan returning from California, Mr. McDavis will hold the position of Law Clerk while he studies for the Arizona Bar Exam.

“With his impressive background in finance and business transactions, Cody will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to our team here at Jennings,” said Richard Lieberman, Chair of the firm’s Business Transactions practice group. “We are excited to have him join us.”

McDavis will focus his practice on business transactions, including purchases and sales of companies, finance, company formations and governance, securities offerings, and real estate transactions. He graduated with honors from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Finance and was a starter for their Division I men’s basketball team. He attended the UCLA School of Law where he earned his J.D. with a specialization in Business Law and Policy. While there, he was elected Class President and was the Managing Editor for the UCLA Law Review. McDavis previously worked in the Finance practice group at an internationally recognized law firm. He also currently serves on the Board at the UCLA School of Law. McDavis has written for The New York Times, Chicago Tribune and several other well-known publications.  He has also been featured on Fox News, CNN, and Bloomberg News.
